Wow, looks like an awesome guitar. Ramirez are, well legendary at the lack of a better word.

mmm yeah but whats he wanting for it...... yes they great guitars and i'd love one.............. but they not that great enough to pay 50K , hugh's fine guitars has one for 45K ........ 74 with brazillian rosewood wood back and sides.........

also can anyone see what model this one is i can't make it out on label......... .........it's obviously a better one cos it';s signed......... prob a 1 A but they make various models............ even student models.......... but many of their guitars are built outside the factory and still carry ramirez name.......... and just go back to factory for "product control" as far as i know only the commisioned builds and the professional series are built inhouse.........

but if he's willing to sell it at a good price then it's a bargain if it's a good one........... but if he's expecting $5000 or there abouts it's not a great price......

also i been doing the research and found that they traditionally very difficult instruments to play cos the neck angle was quite extreme leaving a high string action .... seems it's more the exceptiion to find one thats 'easy ' to play ....... but the tone is awesome........ truly the benchmark tone in my mind of a good classical.......

I know very little about acoustics.Tried to do a bit of research myself on Ramirez but without the model designation, as with this one, I was a bit lost. Ebay prices vary between $800 to $3500 for "basic" models. Then there are the concert models as well....very little info price-wise on those.
PS:George Harrison used a Ramirez on And I love her....a beautiful song ?

Looks like the seller is not quite sure what they are selling... There are some shops in Pta who also puts the wrong model numbers on guitars over R30k... Jeez...

According to the ad, the guitar belonged to Neefa van der Schyff......must be Neefa Snr. Found this on Neefa..... it's worth reading.

I like the case....

Thats about all...

old Ramirez' are over priced imo... Like pre war Martins....

they more for collectors than players these days it seems... or am I missing the point?
