Hello
I have been having this buzzing sound come from the bridge off and on for about a year. It is bad on the d string 11th fret and the g string 7th fret and once in awhile other places. My guitar is a esp ltd m-200fm. I can't figure it out and it's been driving me crazy. ??? Any Ideas?
Thanks

Oh joy - tacking down an intermittent resonance on a licensed Floyd... Well, it seems frequency based (the two notes you mention are nearly the same note), so it's likely a resonance rather than a buzz.
A few things to try:
* Dampen the springs - either with some surgical tubing inside them or with a piece of foam under them. See if that helps.
* Reposition the earth wire to the trem claw slightly (could be rubbing on the springs)
* Next time you have the strings off, check under the blocks (that clamp the strings) for broken-off bits of string.
* Check in the trem cavity for debris.
* Check the bridge pickup cavity for debris.
* Bundle any loose wires in the control cavity with a cable tie or two.

I stuffed some tissues around the springs and it got rid of the buzzing on those notes. All that's left is a little bit on the 1st string 3rd fret, which isn't a big deal. Thank You Alan

I predict the noise will go away on the 17th of July ........ it stems from the kids nextdoor Vuv's
By seriously, I had something like this on my acoustic which sounded like it came from bridge, eventually tracked it down to one of the tuning pegs, I think they call it a ferrell (nut on a barrel with thred which holds the peg down) which was loose/stripped. Oddly the noise was generated when plucking two strings down from the culprit.
