I just had my 21st birthday, and this was my gift from my parents. So stoked with this Schecter, I ordered it without having played it which was a bit of a risk, but it plays wonderfully and feels so comfortable. I absolutely love it!
The thing I like most about it, besides from the looks, are the pups. It's got EMG 81tw/89 which are both coil tappable. So I can get screaming metal tones with the active humbuckers, then Strat twang with the single coil taps.
I bought this through Marshall Music in Hillcrest. Everything went smoothly and they were really patient with me while I decided what model I wanted, plus they hooked me up with a sweet deal and free hard case. So kudos to them!
The guitar arrived about a month ago, but it was only my birthday on monday, so the guitar had to sit in its case under my parent's bed for a month! It was absolute torture knowing it was there. :O
So here it is...
