I booked my table for the 23rd of July ages ago, cant wait!

I suggest you book in advance if you plan on going to any of the gigs, they normally sell out quick! Also, try get a table / seat close to the stage, watching the man up close is really spectacular, you may want to have some earplugs in your pocket though, the oke is rather loud... Can't wait!!

Though if you have a TS 808 you don't need anything else ? I might have added a compressor at the start of the chain though..

At Tanz a few weeks ago there was an Mi Audio Blue boy Deluxe , MI Audio Blueboy pro , a wah pedal and one or two other stomp boxes (can't recall exactly what) on his pedal board. Dont recall seeing a TS 808 , although I might be wrong.
Also , the amp he was using was a DR.Z. Head and 4 x 10 or 12 cab (could't see , was facing inwards ??? ) as well as the 'house' P.A. ( ... was too loud , IMO. ☹ ) , but , exceptionally good nevertheless.Well worth going.

The ts-808 is on his gearlist on his webpage, along with a Bassman 4x10 and a couple of strats. Problem is that it looks as if his site hasn't been updated in a while, so he has probably gotten himself some new goodies by now.

Well I suppose that goes a little way to explaining why I don't sound like Dan Patlansky when I plug my Strat into TS808 and a Fender Bassman the other explanation could be my playing. :-[
