Hello
raithza
Hi all...
Token introduction post.
Used to play guitar in High school for some crappy punk band, put down the guitar while I was at uni, until one day a friend pitched up at my flat with an harmonica and asked if I can play blues. This re-sparked my interest so far the past few months I've been attempting to improve my guitar playing (rather than just improving volume). Been stalking this forum for a month or two, and then decided to join. Looks like a nice active forum with a cool community and some knowledgeable folks, looking forward to contributing (and taking part in one of the comps - as soon as there's a blues-related one).
I stay in stellies and play blues, blues, blues. But badly ?
My equipment:
Cheap Johnson classical acoustic (aka the beach guitar)
Ibanez AEL20 semiacoustic (aka Rosemary)
Ibanez '94 RG Series electric
Ibanez AEB10 Acoustic bass
Peavey Renown 400
Digitech screamin' blues
Boss metalzone mt-2 (that I am looking to get rid of...)
various broken wine bottles (for sliders)
Musical interests - classic blues (muddy, earl lee hooker), some modern blues/rock (kyuss, white stripes, basson laubscher), and some metal once in a while.

Welcome!
Bluesmen are always welcome here. I would advise you not to wait for a blues related comp as there won't be one soon. Maybe try to work the blues into the current theme?
Don: Its called growing up ?

I don't think anybody should be held responsible for their musical taste at age 14 ?
