LED lighting in fretboard
mattayou
Hi Guys
What you think about having LED lighting in your guitar fretboard?
Where each dot inlay is replaced with a LED light.
I am thinking from the point of view that you can see your fretbaord when the stage lights dim and looks pretty cool at the same time.
I know there are guys like Vai that already have tried this but wondering what do the Saffas think about it!
Ciao Matt

It's a bit porno. ? Vai gets away with it because he's always been that kind of guy: floral Jems, laser finger attachments, etc.

Mark King used to have that stuff in his bass, too. I used to like his playing until I saw the LEDs, figured if you want to take away from what you play you come up with the gimmicks. Vai can do it because if you take away half his speed he still is faster.

i like it
but then again, look at my guitars ?

It's a bit porno.
:roflmao:....Never thought of it like that but yes! I wouldn't like that in my guitars.

I wouldn't mind having the fibre optics/LED's ??? on the side markers, but the led's as inlays...noooo... Saw Vai doing it, but then there was that Limp Bizkit bassist who had the same thing going and that pretty much made my mind up..
