Toady she finally died... :'(

Two years ago she was rescued from death and given a crude repair job with gutter bolts and cold glue.
Beyond the neck, above the fretboard. A second lease on life.
Today she fell off the chair and broke her neck again.

I'll rescue the Fishman pick-up and Grover machine heads and fit them to the Ibanez Concord to test my workmanship,
and start looking around for another dreadnought. ?

Are you sure it's unrepairable? Almost nothing is completely beyond repair (although it's not always cost effective). Have you spoken to a luthier?

It's time for a new guitar rather than a repair job. :-\ I just need to convince Madam some more. :-[

She's not even cold yet! ?

But seriously, it's always sad when a guitar breaks. Maybe keep her around and do some research to see if you can't do a proper job of fixing her up yourself. You've got nothing to lose and wil learn loads in the process.

I have a good habit of putting my guitars back in the hard cases even if I put it down for 5 minutes...

I hope others can learn from your mistakes ?

It wozzent even on the chair but leaning against a swivel type office chair... complete idiot... "nobody's Fault but mine" :-[
