Since upgrading to win7 I can't use my Guitarport for recording anymore. I was given this video camera, it records onto those little mini DVD's. I was playing rather loud so I put the cam to the side of the amp to prevent clipping. The audio isn't too bad I guess. I think tomorrow I can try putting it "in front" of the amp and see if I can get away with it.
A guy on youube (gregsguitars) uses a nice setup. He runs amp > mic >into mixer, PC with backtrack into mixer, then one line out into the video cam's audio in. Everything is synched and it seems to work really well. For now this little sucker will have to do. Excuse the noodling, and I should have tuned before recording ?
