  • Floyd-spaced pickups

Hi everyone. Just a quick technical question...

I was just about to order a set of pickups recently, when i was asked if they should be floyd-spaced or not. Now to me, i didn't even know an option like that existed, nor EXACTLY what it means. Is it pretty much the same product but a bit wider/narrower? I'll have a wilkinson v100 floating bridge, i think it is, on the guitar these pickups will go into. Should the pickups be floyd-spaced or not?

Cheers guys, thanks in advance
F-spaced (F for Fender/Floyd) is a wider string spacing (51mm) than the original humbucker design (48mm). MOST guitars (even modern Gibsons) need an F-Spaced pickup at the bridge and those with a wide nut (1-11/16" / 43mm or wider) will need F-spaced at the neck).
      thanks alan,

i'll post pic's as soon as the guitar is finished!
