Tone wise, get:
A decent Les Paul (but not the Customs - they have ebony f'boards)
A decent Dunlop Wah
A decent Marshall valve amp (if u have money to burn - very overpriced locally at the mo)
A set of E Ball 11 to 48 Power Slinkys, detuned a semitone to Eb "Standard"
A dodgy hat
