Keira-WitherKay hi ya all, i'm needig to buy a video camera to film some gigs for you tube /promo ect .....so wonder if anyone has any input and above all experience with the lower end cams(as i'm not wanting to spend a fortune) that have direct audio inputs..so i can line out from desk........... as i mentioned it's for you tube and my website, so quality needs be good but we not looking for top quality since you tube reduces the image so much anyway ........... but the audio is actually more important than the video image ....so it must have a direct in....... anyone know anything about the cams available ......... that i can go check out .....
DonovanB I have the Sanyo handy cam. Its not great. it has no ability to connect to the mains, runs off what looks like a cellphone battery, has a shocking lens and no place to connect an extra mic. Take a look at Dion or incredible connection they have a fair range. I spent a few bucks on editing software. I use magix movie edit pro. The download price is cheaper than the shop and it is very easy to use. You've seen how my video's come out so there's an indication of that...
