some one above coined the "steve Mrose show" and that pretty much sums up the deep purple set ...but that alone was worth the entrance fee...
great show , great beer , great compnay , great rocking ....only thing missing were the topless gals and the lingering smell of a purple haze .....
I have been to shows all over the world and shows in venues the size of the dome are always tricky from the sound point of view ..its not a studio and not a controlled environment ,dont be too picky.....
i once went to a show at the jhb athletics stadium , now that was crud sound ...
Caught Lenny Crevasse at JHB stadium. Terrible sound indeed although I generally like his brand of pop. On another note, if you're old enough you'll remember Purple Haze as being slipped under the tongue, not lit up and toked as it is now ?
