Our band, The Second Field, will be playing at The Blues Train this evening from 7:30. It is held at Zacks Wilsons Wharf in Durban. This is a part of the Zacks compilation CD competition, so we will be out to impress... and hopefully we do ? There is no cover charge.

Yeah you guys were great. I was bummed about the 30 minutes though. That sucks.
I was loving the tone you got. Especially in that last song. and that singer of yours has a cool tele, I love those ones with the f-hole.

Ja its a pity about the 30 mins. The judges really liked our first song, and we're getting a call back to play that song in 6 weeks ? . I love that Tele too, its the squier vintage modified thinline tele, with the duncan designed pickups.
I'm pretty stoked with the tone I'm getting at the mo, and its just my squier with vintage noiseless pups and my peavey valveking amp, no pedals or anything.
We do have a facebook and myspace page, but we dont have much on them at the moment. It's all a work in progress still. We're planning to get our own .co.za web site too. We must get together and jam sometime, it'll be rad!
