Strat vs mustang

So some of you may find this a rather stupid deal that i am considering... however I quite fancy it. Lets se what all you think I have the chance to trade my BELOVED USA fender Deluxe strat for a original 65 mustang...... I have always loved strats bt always wanted a mustang. I have another Strat which isnt getting enough play with this deluxe around.... So Its kind of a dilema. I do love this Strat currently I gig it as my main guitar because it really does sound great. But The Idea Of a 65 Mustang is takng over :/ So what say you???
