At least we are aware of it (although I do treat the aforementioned subjects very seriously). On the other hand, how many people from the United States or Europe are fussed with the scorched earth policy? Or the 1921 revolt with Taffy Long? Or the concentration camps that killed many South Africans? Are people even aware that there were actually two different South African (Anglo-Boer) wars? Battle of blood river ring a bell? There were many terrible things that happened in this country, things that people often choose to forget.
Look, I am no expert on these things, but I just wanted to make a point. I think that in general South Africans are far more clued up about
world history than the rest of the world is.
So I think that by doing an analysis of the presented history, politics and a study of nations and cultures, we may safely say that the mustang wins!
