So I think I'm going to try get my grading. From what I understand you need it to go and study music right? So Where can I do this? How does it work?
Like I've said before and there have been many topics on it before.. But there are many kinds of gradings.
You get classical grading. This can go through Trinity (UK) or Royal schools (US) or I think even Unisa some guys were saying. This is classical style though.
Recently Rockschool exams have come out. They are part of Trinity. However, I think Royal schools has their version too.
If you go study at UCT you will need to have your grade 8 in classical exams. You will also need a grade 8 in theory.
If you want to go to
http://www.icmp.co.uk/ or berkley or anything other college that focuses on electric, you could probably get away with rockschool stuff. They usally have an entrance exam kinda thing.
