Gearhead Looks like a cool build ? The top is not bookmatched. I would not want to pay all that money for a flame top with it not being matched.

It seems a weird thing to do when you can hand pick the lightest mahogany out there. >☹ There are quite a lot of good build descriptions on the interwebz - some even for real, solid, Les Pauls ? A Les Paul seems like a very serious undertaking though. Not a beginner's project, I'm thinking.
