Ok...I A/B'ed a Tiny terror and a Night Train through a H&K 4X12 vintage 30 loaded cab and the results are as follows: on paper the Night Train has better specs and much bigger trannys....but...sound-wise, myself and my friend, a person who's ear I really respect, thought that the Orange sounded better. It has a smoother, creamier overdrive. The clean sounds were very similar though. It was close but the Orange takes it. Great for small, out of town gigs, bedroom wailing, and especially for rehearsals. Played it at rehearsal last night and it was great. It is better looking, and lighter than the Night Train. I am buying it. Done and dusted.

my ear ( an i stress this is my experience and my ear is rather untrained) also prefered the orange ...
hence i bought orange...
Mileage of others will vary
edit: turn the gain on the orange in the 12 to 1 position with volume around 11 and tone around 11 and its the best darn sounding amp i have ever heard....

I prefer the Vox...
I only tried the TT Combo... Thought it was harsh and brittle with a Tele, sounded good with a Strat tho...
So maybe its a good amp for certain styles. but as a versatile amp? I think its far from that.
But it does look SUPER cool ?

I only know from video reviews. But the Vox sounded a little uninspiring while the Terror gave me a serious GAS attack. That is destined to be a classic amp. The dual terror kicks ass too, because it goes up to 30W - bringing it into large gig territory.

This A/B was done with a H&K 4X12 vintage 30 loaded cab.....should also have been been done with a 1 x 12 cab , 'coz thats the type of speaker cab that they come with.......I have the Vox Night Train with a Vox 1 x 12 Alnico blue , I'm very chuffed with it. 8)

What about the price difference though?
