but I also love single coils, P-90s are a great single coil that even a guy that only plays ‘buckers could probably get along with once they got use to that much more dramatic dynamics- its almost like being naked all of a sudden- every aspect of your playing that is not dead on is revealed with single coils!

I still can't get over how lauded these pickups are considering I bought them when I knew nothing at all about pickups. I just read a bunch of reviews and, more than any other P-90, people were so thrilled with these. So I ordered a pair.

Jason was super responsive by email when I badgered him with all kinds of idiot n00b questions. They're a hellava pair of pickups. I was literally disappointed in my Les Paul for years until I swapped out the crappy mini-humbuckers for the Lollar P-90s. Now I can't understand why any Deluxe owner keeps the mini-hums. My guitar just sprang to life.
