floyd rose setup

im thinking of building a Jackson Randy Rhoads style guitar and was wondering how hard it is to setup a Floyd rose from scratch. Also how much would it cost me to get the Floyd rose bridge and nut ?

Setting up from scratch doesn't take much more than setting up normally.

Check www.warmoth.com for prices on the original Floyd Roses, www.stewmac.com (or any other site) for licensed Schaller copies.

thanks ?, i was also lookin at how much and where i could find a v shaped tailpiece similar to a flying v sorta thing

More than likely at stewmac aswell I reckon.

Setting up a floyd IS pretty similar to setting up a normal trem as Alan said. It just takes a little more patience. The first few times I tried to set my RG where definately trying times, but I eventually got it right :?
