Yeah, it is pretty comfortable and it does play like a dream. I'm even more impressed today than I was yesterday! ?

? Cool story about how I ended up buying the P-36... I wanted a cool looking image guitar, I had a Gibson flying V, so uncomfortable and didn't sound great, then I saw the Parker at my local music store, asked out about it, because it looked so cool, played it through a crappy amp, was still impressed. Went home and read some reviews, was again impressed by the satisfied players reviews that i took my amp to the store and tried the p-36 through my amp...SOUNDED AWESOME! Great clean tones!! SOLD the Gibson and bought the Parker... Only happy days!

What do u people have against sharkfin picks?? ?

I started off with them red-ish pieces of junk!! Hahaha nah i'm just kidding, they just toooo thin and why tickle your strings when you can strum them? But I think any guitarist has his/her special pick that works for them, Sharkfin, nah, just not for me! The thicker, the better! 2mm Dunlop Tortois or Croc.

Red Ones: Yep thin, other ones... "blunt"??? It's like playing with an OOOLLLDDD pick that has a round point. I tried the dunlop 1.14mm sharkfins and still didn't like it??

I will again second that! I am also very very satisfied! Its pure quality! GREAT bang for buck!! It just takes some time to get used to the neck without markings on the fretboard, but after that, this is a dream to play! ?

Yip, I've played it a bit more now and I'm even more impressed. I hear you on the fret markers, I had to lower my strap so I use the markers on the side of the fretboard. Way to used to the fretmarkers... ?

The neck is so easy to play I could also do that! ... Still have some bloopers though! Like I think fret 17 or 19 that lines up with the top of the scratch plate, I almost always seem to miss that!

Hi! I've played this Parker guitar - nearly bought it (Gordon at Marshall seemed a bit miffed that I didn't)! As you say interesting piezzo tones especially when blended with the pick-up sound.

My current 'workhorse' axe (I take my Gibson Nighthawk or my G&L Asat to practices) is a Parker Hornet - no piezzo but a nice all purpose guitar with a good range of sound courtesy of coil taps.

Wish I could afford top end Parkers!
