You've got a problem with your website!

It takes more than a minute for a page to load wherever one navigates on the guitar forum website!

In the taskbar it just says "Waiting for musicads.co.za..." and then nothing happens!

It's been like this now for a few days now - please do something about it - it's very annoying!

I've tested it on other computers, laptops, 3 different browsers etc.............

Did you test with different connections?

I get this sometimes - it's certainly not uncommon.

No problem here. I'm on my phone right now, but this morning I was on the pc at home with no problems.

I've seen this happen a few times. All you do is click the link again.
I think that some ads take longer to load :-[

Just a question: if it says "waiting for this-or-that-website" why do you suppose you want to warn the one that is referring to it? - Just kidding ?
This actually happens to all of us from time to time and there is probably little the moderators can do about it. Sorry for us.

One more thing, this happens on a 4M line as well!

Could be that MusicAds.co.za is under a lot of load and isn't coping. We might need to move those ads to a different platform that scales better. For now, not much we can do but will chat to Alan about how to move forward on this one.

Yea, it does get stuck on Musicads but I just hit refresh and comes up.

As Norio said, we'll probably move the ad serving to the same server as GFSA, which will fix things.

At work we use IS, at home I use Neotel and inbetween I use MTN ?

Never had this myself. I use telkomsa and MTN 3G.

The problem persists! It's been roughly a a week now!

It's EXTREMELY frustrating. Refresh Refresh Refresh Refresh Refresh.........and still just the Guitar Forum banner! All I get is "Waiting for musicads.co.za..." in the taskbar.

Until MusicAds gets moved to a new server, try installing AdBlockPlus (definitely available as a Firefox add-on, dunno about other browsers). I'm not suggesting the ads should be removed of course (because that'll presumably be bad for the website's income, which would be bad for all of us!), just suggesting a temporary bypass for people having problems? It might be worth a try...

(I'm using Firefox, with AdBlockPlus & haven't had any problems)

And in addition to adding musicads.co.za I added adserver.adtech.de as well and now I'm flying!

Lol. Firefox is all about the add-ons! (Or ad-offs, in this case. haha!)
