Since joining here I had heard a lot of good things about Andy's place and last week finally got the chance to take my Ibanez S series in for a shampoo, tint and a blow dry. Well I'm sure this is no news to most members of the forum, but for those not in the know, (like I was) my first experience was fantastic.
It's really not just the great workmanship that Andy and Mark do at the back, which is top-class, but also how well I was recieved and the welcoming, helpful and freindly attitude of everyone there. The entire experience was an absolute pleasure.
When I went to collect yesterday, they were still busy trimming the edges and I was asked to wait about 10 mins. (I don't think any one of us would mind waiting even longer in Andy's store) so I browsed around in glee with a nice hot cup of coffee before being showed into the sound booth where I spent another 30 mins abusing about 4 different amps. No really, it was the best "music shop" encounter I've ever had and was made to feel like I was part of a family of guitarists.
I was also put in touch with a teacher in my area who I'm starting advanced lessons with next week, I've turned my spare room into a practice studio and I'm feeling pretty excited about my music life...thanks Andy and everyone else involved in your operation.

I am glad to hear that you had a good experience with Mr. McGibbon and staff.
He's really good at what he does, and on the odd occasions I've met Mark they've always been friendly and with good humour.
My wife and I know them personally from work as we dealt with them in the business side.
