They seem to be the band that many love to hate, simply because they are very successful and get a lot of airplay.
That's not why I don't like them.

i often think that people rip off bands like this cos they jealous they can't find that commercial recipe in their own music that makes em appear in every magazine and on every radio station ......... cos really whats wrong with being popular and being on heavy rotation on MTV ........
Also not why I don't like them. All their songs sound the same to me. I don't ever hear variation in tone or pattern of the songs. Chad Kreoger's voice always sounds the same.
This formula is about as common as cup-a-soup. It sells but I find it boring and repetitive with no healthy listening challenges.
I liked the first album because it was new and I still think their best song was "Never Again" because it had great emotion. Thats about it.
In short I don't understand why they are so popular and I am certainly not jealous of how they sound or their success. I am a true non-fan.
I'll give Evo the benefit of the doubt and listen to this album, but I will maintain my dislike of Nickelback, Daughtry and all bands who sound, or even try to, sound like them.
