here's another wee transcription. This time it's a look at the 12/8 grooving of Armand Sabal-Lecco on "proof" from the 1991 Paul Simon Live in Central Park concert, NYC.

It's a little insight into a part of what's a great overall gig full of some world class bass.

Hi guys,

Here's a link to a Blog Post I did with a Moroccan Inspired bass composition and a quick lesson on Gnaoua Rhythms - The Music Of Morocco - and applying them to the bass.

They use a swing on the castanets that's really unique and challenging for western musicians... ?
