An extra 1 GB from MWEB - YAY

PeteM

I got a great note from MWEB yesterday informing me that they've just given me an extra 1 GB of free data a month from the beginning of April. Has anyone else had this notification?

They could give me a foot massage and clean my toilets and it still wouldn't change how I feel about them >☹

Nope - I'm waiting with bated breath. Phoned them to find out about uncapped. I get 3 gig (and I always end up getting a booster of 1 gig which carries over) So for about 580 per 3 gig and booster 100 so its 630 pm for 3.5 gig. Uncapped is NOT 400 - its 'my line' which is 500 and something plus 400 - so uncapped is about 800 / 900 or something. Always one step ahead the new technologies - making sure they line their pockets with mink.

I only had a 1 GB contract, which was sheer hell. Now I've got 2 :woohoo:

Great news Pete

I signed up with Neotel, and I get 1.5 GB for R269 per month, and 8c a MB if you go over the cap, and sad to say the most I have used in a month is 500 MB. But stepping that up now as they dont carry over the unused MB's.

But what a blessing to get the extra GB for free ?

www.cybersmart.co.za much better for capped, plus you can get free hosting.

Just now got my 4096 uncapped ADSL up and running. So far so good... Service from Afrihost so far has been impressive (I set my router up on another line in CT I knew to be working to test it, but had to get Afrihost to reset my account when I got back. The support guy even phoned Telkom for me to check the ADSL line had been set up properly!).
