This is usually worth going to, They mark everything in the store down - some stuff only 10-25% but there's always a lot of good deals on whatever they are overstocked on and usually some killer one-off clearance items if you're there early. A few years back I bought two 4 In 8 Out Echo soundcards (a Darla and a Gina) at one of these things - for R400 each and a friend bought a rackmount multieffect for R500. They usually have a "three for the price of two" string special on all Ernie Balls, which can make it well worth the visit just for that.
They don't give many details beforehand (because a certain competitor makes a point of advertising the same specials for R1 less if he has time to get an ad in the paper), but here are the specific examples I have:
