Thx for the comments everyone.
You are correct ... I can't wait and I also get a little emotional about this build. In 1997 I lost EVERYTHING (well I didn't lose, it I knew who took it ? ?) in business and was forced to sell much gear. assets etc This idea was one of the things that motivated me so it is more than just a culmination of an idea or a dream, but a fulfillment of a promise made to oneself. It is a symbol of gratitude, hope and perseverance which I hope I will pass down with the relevent story. Emotional....you bet!!! ?
The thread is not finished yet. When it arrives, I have planned a bit of my own photo shoot at a studio to try and capture more close up detail, and then hopefully try and get a sound clip or two done as well. I will no doubt be taking it to Andy's at some stage so who knows who I will bump into there as well. Of course I will also give my own short review on the journey experience and the guitar shortly.
By the way if anyone would be so kind as to volunteer to play the guitar while I record a sound clip it would be great. I can't let everyone for this purpose but please pm me and I will contact as I would love to have a few good players put it through the paces for me.
One week to go .... ?

I gotta say this was a real pleasure of a guitar to build. With each step it got more and more beautiful. The first chord was a real treat... the sound was nice and full with great projection and warmth. I can only imagine how it will sound in a few months as it opens up. I am very excited as this is my first guitar in the great continent of Africa. I have instruments all over the world in Australia, Singapore, Germany, Italy, Canada and USA of course but South Africa is definitely a nice place to be. One of the shows we watch here was showing some footage of Capetown and other places and it blew me away....absolutely gorgeous. I could see myself living there...and better yet, you guys even speak English!! (a bit hard to understand but English nonetheless!) ?
Thanks again for all the interesting posts and great feedback!

Will do Brent. Will call in the morning to arrange a time.... ?
What I can tell you is that no picture does the wood and build justice. Every angle of light brings out more facets of not only the Quilted Sapele back and sides but also the Sinker Redwood top with wonderful silking etc etc etc
