Hey All

A member of another forum I frequent suggested this site for budding guitarists, so here I am. I've been playing for just over a year now, so I'm still a relative noob. That said. I've got a killer teacher, so I sound a truck-load better than I did last year!

I've been through three guitars in my short spell. The first I got rid of - a Santa Fe starter Kit. After about 5 months i decided it was time for an upgrade and got myself a Washburn Idol 64. It's a lovely guitar to play and I still have it. And then there's my pride and glory - an Epiphone Les Paul Ultra in heritage cherry sunburst. I got it this last chrismas while in Ireland. It's easily one of the nicest-looking guitars around and plays and sounds like heaven!

I use a Roland 30x for amplification and that's about it. I'm hoping to go all-valve later this year, but we'll see how the budget goes....?

Anyway, i look forward to, erm, forum-ing with you all!
