This has kind of pissed me off. I posted an ad using my gmail email address and at the end of the advert I said something to the effect "I could not get the stupid Map Address thing to work so dont worry about what it says, I live in JHB."
5 minutes later the email comes through saying every thing is cool and my ad is up. Next day another email comes through saying they deleted my advert because it didnt comply with the gumtree T&C. Okay fine, Ill post it again using that crap Map Address shyt. No, Ive been blocked. Fine screw you then.
So I tried my mweb email address and it was also blocked! So I check my mweb emails and all the gumtree adverts I posted over the last year had all been deleted because the didnt comply withe the gumtree T&C. Most of those adverts I had deleted months ago so they shouldnt have been on gumtree. And the only reason they gave me for deleting my ads was "other=99".
Im hoping thier system had just gone wild and is doing its own thing and that they will sort it out, coz this really sucks!

I had that last year the problem was that my ISP Voodoocom was giving me an IP address that was outside the region I was advertising from. Check on the Gumtree Forums seee if anyone else is getting the same problem.
