? yeah attilla has given me the heads up for both the G225 and the G 230 .......... and joel also sent me a mail re the cg171s i bought ..... so the forum members are helping with my finds...... and i do appreciate this help....... and so far i have bought 4 classicals in pawn shops over last 9 months for myself and 2 more for students..... and an electric and various effects and an amp........ all at give away prices and all instruments that really sound awesome.......
if you watched the doccie..."it might get loud" i'm starting to identify with jack white and all his vintage pawn shop guitar finds and also believe as he does one can get great tone without spending money on boutique guitars ...... and the real scary thing is it's really true one can find gems out there ( sure after lots of looking) that might not look pretty but sure can be used on pro music circuit

I can confirm that, that pawn shop guitar is one of the richest sounding nylon string guitars I have played in a long time.
yeah you shoulda seen the amazement on conrads face when he strummed the G230 and that sound leapt out at him......it's loud real loud and with rich tone .......he was never expecting that tone from the guitar ...... and when i said it wasn't even a solid top he had to look at the laminate in soundhole before believing me.....
so yes finding guitars like this in pawn shops really makes my day ....... ?
