Hi all. I have a fixed bridge and tuning knobs that i took off an old strat. Can i take a normal spray can to it? I want to change it from the normal silver chrome colour to black. Are there any intricate pieces inside the bridge that might get messed up if i do this?
Paint isn't durable enough, you'd have to have it plated, and for the price to do a once-off like that, you may as well buy an inexpensive black bridge from somewhere like Guitar Fetish or Stew Mac.
