Delay

I love delay but I'm not quite sure how to use it properly. On my Roland Cube, it's always just been a case of turning the knob to max and playing. Now that I'm messing with more configurable delays on my PC, I'm finding it a lot harder to get a delay that doesn't conflict with my tempo.

So how does this work? I know there are calculations and things but I don't know what they are or how to use them.

When useing a mild delay, you dont have do worry so much but in the situation of a top studio, you have use the delay that goes with the tempo, here is a chart on how to find the exact tempo setting:
