Whammy bar wont come out

Hi everyone, I have a (second hand) Cort G200, and it's whammy bar won't wind out. When I rotate it, it turns for a bit, but then stiffens up and won't budge. How can I remove it without having to saw it off?

Sounds like the G200 is a strat-type. I'm with Don here. Are you turning it the right way?
If you are and it still doesn't work, you could try Q20 from the back (if its an open sort of trem block).
If not, spray the Q20 very lightly right at the base where the arm goes in the trem socket and then work it slowly.
If you don't have Q20 at hand and are skint (i've been there before) you can try cooking oil using an ink dropper or similar.

+1 on the Q20 and a bit of brute force. The threads in the block have probably been damaged at some point. If the arm breaks off you may have to get an engineer to extract it.

Actually, you want to turn it the left way ?
For the mechanically challenged: counter clockwise when looking onto the guitar top. If the thread is damaged it tends to help to find the 'hard spot', turn back a quarter turn and then pull and wiggle before turning further.
