Whammy Bar Issues

Hi everyone, My question relates to the Fender USA whammy bar on my guitar. I have areal nice USA Lonestar with stock Seymour Duncan pickups but like all Fender whammy's its not really any good and feels amateur. Is there another whammy on the market today that I can fit to my guitar as a direct replacement without having to modify the guitar in any way. I have already replaced the nut with a Fender roller nut and I love it, yet I want a more accurate whammy to go with it. Mine features the standard 6-screws. If I eventually decide to sell the guitar I want to be able to put the original nut and whammy back. Thanks James Evans.

Arjun, I won't modify my Lonestar. I also won't put shims under the neck because then that nice distance between the strings and the scratch plate in the bridge/middle pickup area will increase, and that's a no no to me. So this "stetsbar" won't do it either.

I guess its going to have to be an assembly side project. I don't mind if a Floyd Rose alters the tone a bit, I mean, I have other guitars to play. It's just that I can't seem to find an original Floyd anywhere. The ones you can get appears to be used.

Nice Lonestar Strat James, similar to the kind of thing I assemble myself. You can get the genuine article at http://www.warmoth.com/Original-Floyd-Rose-C693.aspx. They're original, the only ones I use AND they're still inexpensive!

Good morning everyone. Thanks AndreM. I'll just get one of these Floyd's from the Warmoth site and start a little side project.
