Hi All,

My name is Mike Hyland. I reign from just behind the Borewors Curtain in the Northen Suburbs of Cape Town.

I have been playing guitar and writing songs for close on 16 years now and have found that my expertise have developed more in the line of songwriting but I can handle myself on a guitar. My vocals are a bit k@K but bearable.

I was introduced to the forum by Graeme Parfett and have found it to be a ocean of resource so good on the brainchild behind the forum.

I am in the early stages of an exciting project that is going to use the internet to its maximum potential to drive my concept/ideas. I will be looking for musicians to help me on this journey and am willing to pay for services offered - as long as it is my price range ?

I will hopefully become a productive citizen in the land of Guitar Forum and look forward to upping my game regarding all things sound related.

Thanks for the reply and I certainly feel a sense of welcome amongst the forum community.

I think, regarding my project, in the past I have said too much and done too little. But I have found myself in a position to possibly reverse that process and am hoping I can, through persistence and prioritizing, finally make what I have brewing in my head a reality.

Looking forward to sharing the experience.
