IceCreamMan i have a couple of boss pedals and the dumbass question is If i leave a jack in the pedal but the pedal not "on" will the battery be drained? be merciful ,i am stupido

IceCreamMan thanks , and thanks am thinking of building a pedal board and fixing the pedals in a semi perm way with the input jacks permanently in, there goes that idea. have to have battery just in case , just in case. thanks again
AlanRatcliffe If you use a PSU on your pedalboard and the batteries are there just for backup, then you are OK. The DC power plug disconnects the battery when it's plugged in, even if the mains power is off.
