Mine is Sipho Hotstix Mabuse's "Burnout"!

Saw him play it live at the old Goodwood showgrounds in approx 1986, on the same bill as Ellamental, Tribe after Tribe, Hotline, Savuka and eVoid if I remember correctly. What memories. The late Steve Kekana does this really weird falseto ad libs towards the end of the studio version (which they always fade out on KFM - suppose their program manager thinks it will offend their imagened target demographic), which are actually quite magical.

Other odd ones would be 'Wouldn't it be good' by Nik Kershaw and 'Sunshine Reggae' by Laidback. And, of course, my exhaustive 4 disc ABBA box set. Supposedly uncool, but IMO masterfully crafted pop songs that were brilliantly arranged and have stood the test of time! Whilst I'm in the confessional, better let the fact that I'm a closet Neil Diamond fan out of the closet, and also cop to loving Dylan's much maligned "Empire Burlesque" album!!

OK, going undercover into hiding now. Will re-register under new nom de guitarre ...

Me too. Although I don't own The Body (I thought it was Music From the Body or something?) or much of the post-Waters Floyd.

My darkest shame is that KISS got me into playing guitar. I don't have any of their stuff, but they started me off on it.

I just remembered another: Toyah Wilcox (Robert Fripp's wife apparently). It's a Mystery and I Wanna be Free, etc.
