hi ya all just a rundown on my gig roster this weekend..........

thurs 19th .. myself and my vocalist Alicia will perform a set from 8 - 8-30 at TJ's acoustic music club....... also on bill from the forum is Bob and fingerpicker it's at marks park sport grounds judith rd emmerentia couvert R20

Fri 19th - sees myself and my percussionist ... the amazing Glenne meldrum ...doing an instrumental set at Trivoli restaurant at Village walk shopping centre , Sandton ...... time wise seems we gonna start early at 5-30 ish and play prob till 8-30 /9 it promises to be a vibrant blend of cuban/african/flamenco/latin grooves with plenty of improvisation..... no couvert

sat 20th i do my regular solo instrumental guitar "busking" gig at Carnival city casino ........ from 6 pm ....i just call it busking cos i play in a walkway ........ and yes people even stop and give me money cos they think i'm really busking ..... but the casino does remove the financial risk normally associated with busking and pay me hansomly for my services...... i truly enjoy this gig ...cos it allows me to see what draws peoples attention as they walk by ... i have fun with this one........ no couvert

sun 21st this is my usual sunday gig with myself and my jazz vocalist Alicia .... we do a mix of jazz/swing standards and my original world music ....... great lunchtime gig at Braza at Irene village mall . (situated on corner of R21 and nelmapius rd , irene) fabulous food and great vibe this gig is from 1pm -3pm no couvert

mon 22nd is a public holiday so i will perform solo instrumental world music at Indulgence cafe , Northcliff from 12-30 to 2-30 it's a fully catered braai by the amazing mandi friedman of lollipop catering who owns the restaurant .... the braai will be charged per head ...contact the restaurant to book and confirm price Indulgence Coffee Cafe is at 225 Beyers Naude Drive Northcliff Ext 5

well when you in jhb next come pop in........ but warning is i play instrumental world music and jazz (which has vocals thanks to the talented Alicia) so it's an aquired taste. and apart from jazz standards everything in show is original compositions of mine....

and yeah i normally play 3 -4 shows a week in and around jhb regularly so sure you can make one sometime

i will be there on monday, since i live up the road... I actually only noticed that restaurant last thursday as i drove past it... lol. Ill come say hello to you if you dont mind.

yeah pop in ....... as i said above not sure on the price per head yet ...... but it will include divine exotic salads and the main course which is a braai and mouth watering deserts...... this restaurant is renown for it's awesome food....... it's unfortunately not just open for people popping in for drinks unless you come towards the end of the last set ... i'll prob start around 12-30 and end at 2-30 and YES you must come say hi THATS MANDATORY ....... my better half will be there too ?

lol, i might end up listening from outside... student budget, you know? ? but ill be there...

? well lethe maybe arrive about 1-45 and say you not there for lunch but can you have a drink that way if they not fully booked they will let you in no worries...... it is a small restaurant so they have to give diners preference
