Luminous Strings - Question

peters

I bought a guitar with the wound strings being luminous green and the unwound strings a luminous scarlet, does anyone know what make of strings these are and who stocks them. Thanks / Peter

DR makes some but I don't know who stocks them. People used to moan about the colours coming off?!

When you source some, consider combining them with glow-in-the-dark picks.

I have a couple at home. I think they are Dunlops.

DR makes sum,but I can't find DR's anywhere, there's supposedly a problem with the distributors or sum thing...

McGibbon's have DRs. I don't know if they are the agents.

According to their web site DR make COLOURED strings, but they don't advertise any glow-in-the-dark strings.

Thanks for the information, will check whether they actually glow or are just easier to see in feint light.

A friend of mine, in Cape Town, is selling Aurora strings. He only has the blue and the gold ones left.
If you're interested then send me a PM and I'll give you his number.
