Some gear that I played today...

Well, I actually didn't play that much. lol. But anyways, here are the things that caught my ear
Peavey 3120. Bloody hell! wow! seriously! never heard of this amp before, but it has a seriously amazing
clean tone! I played through an Ibanex ARX320 or something (something I nearly bought... but I seldomly
spend on myself... feel guilty... lol... so i didn't end up buying it at $400). But anyway, that amp is amazing!
Any one else heard it? Also got a very nice distortion! Seriously, if i had the money or lived here, I would get it at $1000.
Played some nice Classical guitars- rodriguez. Can't exactly remember the models but the price tag was at %900. One of them
was made out of koa or something and I really didn't like the tone... sounded kinda cheap. The other was quite nice, but I still love
my old school Yamaha... I think Keira knows what I'm on about. THese Yamaha really do stand up to the big boys IMO.
The last nice thing I played was a Martin OD18 or was it OD 28??? but WOW! my fingers felt like they were playing on butter or ice
or something nice. The neck was so smooth and heavenly to play on. No resistance. You could just flow with the guitar! really nice!

Generally, (for those who don't know) gear is seriously cheap here... especially if you live here, but even with the exchange rate it works out nicely. set of strings $5 so ~R40 a steal IMO.

anyways, enough chit chat. I bought some strings, cables and a boss ns-2. If anyone has used one, give me some feedback on the Boss pedal.
I was going to buy the Digitech Jamman @ $250 but there is a new one coming out at the end of the month with stereo output and 4 BUTTONS!! 4 BUTTONS! I LOVE BUTTONS! YES! So I will wait and buy it for a lot more in SA. lol. FAIL!
Anywaysm feedback on the boss ns 2 would be nice, as i cant test it yet. And if it is considered crap i will smash it against a wall... or return it.

From hearing virtually nothing about peavey amps for quite some time they're all over the forum suddenly. Was not happy with my Bandit 112 :-[ but it was that super crap sounding solid vibe of the eighties. I had zero GAS when I was in NY, regretting it now... buy while you can... ?

How much space do you have in your luggage restriction?

I had plenty of Gas, went I went to the UK 2 years ago, but sadly didn't have enough funds as it's not that cheap in the UK.
I bought some plectrums and a glass slide :-[

Enjoy it and have a Hotdog on me , with all the fried onions etc. ?
