So,theres this technique that alot of metal bands do, but in specific i like the way bullet for my valentine does it...honestly,i dont know whats it called,so ill explain,in the song hand of blood,padge does this thing with his right hand while holdin a chord with his left,he like slides the pick over the top strings from bridge to his left hand.it sounds really cool,but i cant get it right!i play through a zoom multieffects pedal,could this be a problem?any help is appreciated

I think you mean a pick slide? It kind of depends on the angle of your pick and stuff I find. Also, I have a pick with a bit of a sharper edge so I've got to angle it otherwise its far too harsh sounding
