I don't think it is the speaker. I'd check the usual suspects first: the switching on the return or headphone jacks.

I'll check everything I can tonight, otherwise I will take it in this weekend. It is still under warranty I believe.

Ok, I've handed the amp in today, apparently they will have the Blackstar rep or technichian or whoever come and take a look at it.

Apparently my amp is still just sitting in the shop, with no one from the distributor or after sales really bothered to come and get it. Seems like Blackstar's after sales service is non existant. I'm seriously not impressed.....

You should see some action after that, I'm sure.

Good advice. And if you don't get any joy there, email Blackstar themselves to complain and let them jump on the local distributor. That's worked for me in the past with other brands.

Guitars for Africa, owned by the same guy that owns Music Company in Melville, are the importers. AFAIK

The shop said they will take it in themselves, so
I will give it a day or two. If there is no change,
I will definitely try to get hold of Blackstar themselves.

Got my amp back yesterday. Apparently they just gave it one listen and exchanged it then and there for a new one, as it was under warranty. All is well again...
