Found another LP

Okay so theres this Epiphone Les Paul on gumtree and its going for R2000 (its been posted in gumtree fail).
So I emailed the guy and he sent me some pictures. Its kind of scratched up though.
To me it looks like a good deal.

Serial Number is: S5061436

Is this worth going for?

pics or link?

If it's an Epi LP Special, no. The L100 looks like a Standard but has a bolt-on neck - also not worth it. If it's a Standard that is cosmetically scruffy but plays well (with all electrics working), then it's not a bad deal. Pics?

There they are.

There's a guy selling 4 brand new epi lp's on gumtree,3 customs and a slash sig. to...sorry but gumtree's not working on my mac at the moment,so no link, think he was asking 5500 and he's in the cape sumwere,if he was closer I'd have taken the slash sig... ☹

I have one like this. Probably not the best LP ever but if its cheap enough it'll do just fine. For what its worth, I paid R1600 in 2000 for mine, second hand. Its in a much better condition tho. The pickups were really bad.
