Really Matta, what makes the digitech a better pedal? I've always stayed away from their stuff, didn't seem to have the same quality as boss.. Would love to hear as I've been wanting a looper for a long time.
Firstly it uses a Smart Media card so you can scale up/down the available recording time, up to HOURS of time, not minutes (16 minutes on the Boss). The Jamman also has 99 preset banks to store/save loops, the Boss has 11, technically only 10 as the 11th is for a one shot loop only. The Jamman also has USB so if you record a loop you dig you can drag it to your computer for safe keeping, or likewise maybe you start with a cool loop on a computer, you can dump is over USB to the Digitech. The new Jamman Stereo also has BANK UP/DOWN switches, the Boss needs an additional footswitch to switch, and it well, stereo, vs the Boss, which is mono.
Those are the key difference to me.
Cheers
