Neps Good day to all!! I havnt been on in a LOOONNNGGG while, and I thought it a great idea to give a quick HOWZIT!! Well, Im almost done with my contract, and Ive just been promoted to the Head Tech for a floating Hotel.. Jip, now I have to listen to EVERYONE moan about how their mic's dont work, and then walk over, throw in new batteries and show them that you have to atleast cvhange the battery once in a while.. We dont have solarpowered mics yet.. So what have I been up to.. Well for most part Ive been spending faaarr too much time in the bar.. Lets just say a monthly barbill of $1000 is quite steep.. OEPS!! But then again, beer goes for $1, so who cares.. Other than that Ive had the honour of working with 3 amazing acts the last month!! One was Kenny James.. This guy won 'Starsearch' 13 thimes.. This was the fore runner to American Idol.. And this man is brilliant.. Then there was Tony Tilmann.. He opened up for Bill Cosby for 10 years.. And was great friends with Mr. Sammy Davis Jnr.!!! And then for all you hair metal fans.. There once was this group formed by twin brotheres.. They were the sons of a famous rock and roll star Rick Nelson.. Jip, the Nelson brothers!! These guys rocked and were quite fun.. And they got me a pre release of the NEW Lifehouse Album!! Awesome!! The lead guitarist plays on a $8000 Fender Custom Strat.. Built to his specs.. And he got it for FREE.. Best of it wast that he left it with me for a week.. I was in heavan.. Playing that through 1 of my many Fender Twin Valve amps was just a pleasure the whole week long.. I might have wet myself a couple times.. But thats all from me.. Thought Id just pop in and say Hello Tot later Neps
