Well strat lovers I've just acquired a new guitar for my arsenal!
It's a beautiful raspberry red, 1985 Contemorary Japanese Strat with special (vary rare) tremelo system.
It's a system 1,2 or 3 tremelo they brought out in the 80's...not too sure on details.
It is 25 years old this month....(E536....etc)....so i guess it starts to qualify as vintage too.
The pups are vintage Fender and are naturaly aged yellow. If u open the guitar the bases are still white.....sweeet!
All I can say is i've played a lot of strats in my life but nothing has quite come close to this baby's tone!
Smooth, crisp and clear vintage Fender & this is a rare Alder wood MIJ series strat. It's nice and heavy and has the old 50's style cut body with the deep cutaways. ..... ooooh i cant type anymore i have to pick it up again and jam!
Enjoy the pics.
