If all goes to plan, these, along with one of my Les Pauls and my V which is currently at Andy McGibbons being nursed back to life, will be my set up. I know that most people on here will probably want to poke me in the eye with a Red Sharkfin for saying this, but I've got to the point where I dont care what the name on the guitar is... as long as it plays nicely and is the shape/colour/weight that I want, I don't really care. I dont play for money, I rarely play for anyone other than my two year old and none of my friends would know the difference between Gibson or a Starfire.
So here they are - I already 'own' the first two, the Explorer and the Jaguar shapes - I had them delivered to my brother in the UK and he'll bulk ship all the guitars to me once he gets them all. The make of those two is Wesley and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality when I played that make in the UK two years ago. The next three I am taking my chance with as I have never played them (Harley Benton) but they have got plenty of good reviews on the web. I may get a dud, but to be honest, it won't worry me. Over the years I may do some modding, but hey, that's where most of the fun comes in anyway.
