My 50th Birthday suprise

So , today is my 50th birthday , I wake up and carry on like normal throughout the day.......mmmm ...., seems the wife and kids and my 2 best friends forgot my birthday !!! .... >☹ After a whole day of being rather dissappointed I come home to a wonderful suprise !! ? A Made in Japan Tokai ES-135 G BB !!! ( henceforth in the Tokai 2010 catalogue to be known as the ES-142 G BB I am told.) Pitch black , with gold hardware.....Awesome hardcase as well ! Wow , is all I can say for now ..., 'set -up out the box' with buttersmooth low action....Seems wife and mates had planned this all along..... :-[ She did know I was gassing for an ES-335 of some sort ....., so without further delay , herewith some pics !!.....

Turning 50 is great. You don't have to be cool anymore - nobody expects it of you. You can now indulge in all those previously guilty pleasures - like wearing socks AND sandals and openly listening to Abba.
