So I got some birthday goodies today.. Camera stuff mainly. Although I resized this pic in photoshop I'm going to make it display full size here as not to lose quality.. I'll update this thread as I take more ? (Aha seems I'm FORCED to use 600x400 max ☹ - Will resize to that from now on for here.)

The forum will automatically resize the display to 600px wide, but you can do that and then insert the link to the same and it will pop up full size.

I have it in as

(img width=903 height=604]http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8962/fenders.jpg[/img)

And it goes back to 600x400 ☹

The forum software will always resize it for display, but if you also add it as a link like this:

[img]http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8962/fenders.jpg[/img]
http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8962/fenders.jpg

You get this:

http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8962/fenders.jpg

and clicking on the link will open it in a new window at it's full size. ?

You can also add in the text for the link like this:

[url=http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8962/fenders.jpg]Click this link for a larger photo[/url]

..and you get this:
Click this link for a larger photo

and if you want to style the text of the link you can too, by surrounding the text with the relevant tags, much as you would in a post. For instance adding the bold tags :

[url=http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8962/fenders.jpg][b]Click this link for a larger photo[/b][/url]

Gives you this:
Click this link for a larger photo

The one reason why it's often worth resizing to the size restrictions of the forum is that you can sharpen to your taste, and not lose that in the resizing. Not a big deal, but if you're fussy about your sharpening...

Yea my best option would be hotlinking the image ?

Singe, yea I am.. Shot loses loads of detail at 600x400..
